6:15pm: Screening of the experimental film The Cut-Ups (Anthony Balch/William Burroughs, 1966) followed by a lecture on audiovisual perception and temporality. The Q & A will allow addressing questions of artistic practice and the relevance of Burroughs’s paranoid fantasies in a world of surveillance.
