We will be discussing three different readings during our April Fidget Forum:
“Meltdown” by Nick Land
“The Loss and Discovery of Reality” by Ernst Fischer
“Mechanical Eye, Electronic Ear, and the Lure of Authenticity” by Trinh T. Minh-ha

We’ve chosen these three texts for their relevance to our current cultural situation—particularly as they attempt to theorize a role for art in modern life, question the idea of “neutrality,” and riff on planet earth’s capture by cybernetic capital.
